Maui has been home since 2010. I’m known to the Lahaina community as a sailboat captain- living and working on the water, and occasionally disappearing beyond the horizon on extended voyages. I returned to Maui after my last voyage with a deep dedication to a new calling- supporting women and their families through transformative birth experiences…
. My birthkeeping journey began in 2021 while SAILING PREGNANT in the South Pacific. I searched high and low to find a wise woman to support my birthing wishes while preparing physically, mentally, and spiritually to potentially freebirth my first baby. The birthkeeper spark turned to a raging fire as I birthed my daughter at an Airbnb in Fiji. After experiencing intuitive instinctual birth I believe that empowered women birthing autonomously can change the consciousness on earth.
